I bought this to wear under the dress I am wearing for my wedding and I tried it on as soon as I got it. Don't try to size down with intentions of looking slimmer. I carry all my weight in my bust and stomach and I ordered XL/XXL and it fit like it should and flattened everything nicely. I also have a short torso and this comes up right under my boobs so it is good for short torsos. I ended up wearing it the next day to work and it was very comfortable the whole time and doesn't roll down. I highly suggest ordering the size you should from the size chart for the best fit and look and comfort.
